Day 10
Thought I would try something really different today, after admiring Stolloween's wonderful paper snowflakes I came up with this during my lunch break using a serviette and my fingers ;)

Day 9
For today's challenge I chose to create something from the bakery where I work, I found myself peeling some very stretchy and sticky caramel off a layer of chocolate cake and thought it may make an interesting pumpkin, so here is the chocolate, caramel pumpkin monster!

Day 7
This is the second stage of the pumpkin scarecrow completed on day 8
This one will be a 2 or three part creation. Today I drew out a template on cardboard for a pumpkin scarecrow. I drew my inspiration from the sprites that 'Imps and Things' make and the awsome scarecrows of 'Pumpkin Rot'.

Day 2
So far so good, now, according to Noah's journal today's suggestion was to use my favorite animal as inspiration, so, my favorite animal being a cat, and as I was eating oranges I made a marmalade cat pumpkin!

First day of creating pumpkins
Having received a copy of Noah Scalin's 'daily creativity journal' as a pre-Christmas gift from my Husband Steve, I pondered long and hard about subject matter for such a huge endeavour. I have struggled with my creativity for the last few years but can always seem to find enthusiasm for anything pumpkin related, so thus it shall be! I shall attempt to create a pumpkin a day for the next 365 days.
To kick start it I spent today carving a pumpkin tree ornament from a wooden post cap that was knocking about in the basement. It was a great opportunity to try out the new woodcarving tools I received for Christmas!
